Shaman, Mapuche spiritual leader (Chile)
Jorge Quilaqueo is a guardian of traditional knowledge and has been initiated into the sacred wisdom of his Mapuche people from an early age. He lives in the heart of the Andes mountains in Chile. Recognised as a machi (shaman, medicine man), he shares and educates people (children and adults) about the ‘cosmo-philosophy’ of his people, to help them reconnect with nature and themselves.
