Promoting the ecological transition in the cultural sector.

Culture holds the keys to transforming our imaginations and achieving a just, equitable and desirable ecological transition. This is why supporting cultural organizations is essential so that they can identify levers for action at the level of their structures and contribute to the emergence of new sustainable benchmarks.

Since 2023, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has been working alongside the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Principality of Monaco to mobilize Monegasque institutions around a common objective: to advance the ecological transition in the cultural sector.

A professional workshop is thus organized each year on the sidelines of the Green Shift Festival to continue the discussions in a participatory approach based on the principle of collective intelligence. Between sharing good eco-responsible practices and feedback, or sharing tools to support the transition, the workshops make it possible to develop concrete transformation actions.
