Minuit 12 is a creative and exploratory collective for artists working on ecological issues. Founded in 2021 by artists and dancers Pauline Lida, Jade Verda and Justine Sène, the body is its raw material for creation: ‘For the past three years, we have been working, reflecting and formulating the contours of a shared artistic creation, shaped by our ever-increasing knowledge of living organisms, biodiversity and climate phenomena. Each of our creations and dance workshops explores the way in which the body and the senses integrate, interact and question our relationship with natural environments. The Collectif takes an interdisciplinary and hybrid approach to its work, mixing different dance styles and communities, and welcoming artists from a wide range of backgrounds and practices (composers, designers, photographers, set designers, stylists, etc.). Alongside its activities as an artistic collective and the creation of pieces, it is taking part in the powerful climate mobilisation, using art as a means of action.
