Maud Louvrier-Clerc is an artist whose three main themes are identity, footprint and interdependence. Passionate about philosophy and biology, economics and astrophysics, she develops a reflection on evolution. Her transdisciplinary approach links art, science and spirituality. Her work includes pieces focused on sustainable development, such as paintings, sculptures, installations and multisensory performances.

Born on 22 June 1976, Maud Louvrier-Clerc lives in Paris with two home bases, one in Menton on the French Riviera and the other in Cap Coz in Brittany. Her work is regularly featured in solo exhibitions, such as "Les Architectes" at the White Room in Paris in 2024, "Du Ciel à l'Assiette" in 2022 at the Jardin des ifs, "Climat, la nouvelle Apocalypse ?" at the Château d'Angers in 2018, and "Oustide, inside" in 2016 at the Villa Savoye. She also participates in biennials and group exhibitions, such as the "Festival des réparations" at the Académie du Climat in 2023, "La Conscience de l'eau" at the Maison de la Norvège in 2022, and "How innovation creates history?" in Dubai in 2018.

As part of her research, the visual artist facilitates encounters between scientists and entrepreneurs around art and science with the aim of bringing new possibilities to light. In 2012, she completed her first artist residency at the Institut des futurs souhaitables. In 2014, the visual artist created the JEMONDE protocol, a poetic and civic exploration of the Anthropocene integrated into UNESCO's " Humanities, Art & Society" programme, which she has since rolled out with numerous partners such as the Ministry for Ecological Transition and L'Occitane en Provence.
