Historian and futurist Mathieu Baudin is director of the Institut des Futurs souhaitables (IFs), a school of reinvention whose mission is to restore the long term to present-day decision-making and inspire public debate about desirable futures. Surrounded by a team of around 100 experts and artists, he organises and leads intellectual explorations and Lab Sessions to help people better understand and project themselves into the world of tomorrow. Author, lecturer, TEDx speaker and organiser, TV columnist, podcaster and curious collector, he has been travelling through time for over 20 years between the past, present and future to enable everyone to understand our era and imagine tomorrow in the light of what it could be at its best.
