Composer, sound designer, singer, videographer and artistic director of the Microsmose label
Hélène Vogelsinger is a composer, sound designer, singer, videographer and artistic director of the Microsmose label. Through a unique practice combining music, image and sound architecture, she develops an immersive, introspective body of work that is deeply connected to the living world.
Through her modular synthesiser project, she travels to abandoned or remote places in nature, where she composes and performs in direct dialogue with the energy and memory of the spaces. Each place becomes a territory of resonance, a sensitive ecosystem that influences her music, her gestures and her perception of time.
Her creative process, which she has been refining for several years, is based on deep listening, slowness and connection to the moment. Nourished by a sensitivity to silence, natural light and the invisible, she shapes suspended experiences, between waking dreams, contemplation and inner journeys.
A multidisciplinary artist, Hélène also designs her own videos, works in the field of image, and is developing a creative space within Microsmose dedicated to sensitive, meditative and organic forms. Her universe unfolds like a poetic and sensory language, at the crossroads of ambient music, electronic experimentation, orchestral composition and visual art.
Her work has been praised by media outlets such as DJ Mag, Trax, Future Music and Electronic Sound, and presented at festivals, art institutions and unusual venues across Europe.
