The Green Shift Festival
The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has partnered with the Pavillon Bosio art school in Monaco as part of its postgraduate professional training programme, ‘Décors’. Artists and set designers Gabriel-Noé Rosticher and Ahmad Reshad spent several months working on the festival layout, the stage area and the design of some of the furniture and seating. A series of reusable benches, tables and bar tables made from recycled wood were designed and created. Inspired by the Japanese ‘kigumi’ construction technique, the various pieces of furniture can be assembled without screws and easily dismantled for optimal storage.
The 2024 edition will therefore be hybrid, with some of its furniture made from raw materials, but also inclusive and unifying, with a stage design aimed at bringing the audience closer to the performers. These approaches are perfectly in line with the values upheld by the festival.
