Une nouvelle journée Écologie pour la Semaine PhiloMonaco 2024

Inspiration

From Tuesday 11 to Sunday 16 June, the Monaco Philosophical Meetings are organising PhiloMonaco Week: numerous speakers, including philosophers, researchers, psychiatrists and psychologists, writers, professors, etc., will come to debate and exchange ideas with the public on the themes of Ecology, Education, Care, Women and the Art of Living.

Tuesday 11 June will be Ecology Day, in collaboration with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation
, which will be launched by a morning event organised in partnership with Monaco Info and Monaco Town Hall, hosted by Sandrine Negre between 9.30am and 10.30am at La Condamine market, with the participation of Olivier Wenden, Vice-President of the Foundation.

A philosophy lunch with Olivier Rey on the theme of ‘Repairing Water’ will follow from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Princess Grace Theatre in association with the Monaco Media Library. The two afternoon round tables will focus on ‘Is ecological radicalisation inevitable?’ (2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and ‘An uninhabitable Earth?’ (7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).

Please note: the meetings will be broadcast live on philomonaco.com and on PhiloMonaco's YouTube and Facebook pages.

Several other highlights will punctuate PhiloMonaco Week:
- Launch of the magazine ‘Les Jeunes philosophent’ (Young People Philosophise) for schoolchildren
- Philosophy Tea Party for children aged 7 to 10
- Award ceremony for a book, an honourable mention for a publishing house and the Lycéen Prize awarded to two high school students
