Science Festival 2026
Inspiration
The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation took part in the 5th Science Festival in Monaco, organised by the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology and the Scientific Centre, on Wednesday, September 30, at the Espace Léo Ferré.
This UNESCO-endorsed event brought together numerous scientific, institutional, and non-profit stakeholders from Monaco for a range of activities, meetings, and discoveries accessible to all, aiming to introduce science in a fun and engaging way.
For the occasion, the Foundation presented a question-and-answer card game designed for young children and families. By addressing the major environmental challenges of our time through a selection of images from its Environmental Photography Award, the game allowed participants to learn about endangered animal species and explore issues related to pollution and the fight against the effects of climate change - all while having fun.
The activity captivated both young and old, fostering friendly interaction with visitors who were able to discover in detail the environmental initiatives the Foundation has carried out over the past 20 years, as well as the vital role of science in assessing the state of our planet and developing concrete, sustainable solutions to the crises threatening natural balances and human societies.
