Moving towards positive-impact jobs

Inspiration

As part of the third edition of the Green Shift Festival, the Prince albert II of Monaco Foundation organised a meeting dedicated to "tormorrow jobs" with students from the Lycée François d'Assise-Nicolas Barré and the association makesense, which works to promote civic engagement, social innovation and organisational transformation.

Career guidance is an essential key to helping the younger generation make the transition to work. By raising awareness of the many possible forms of commitment and highlighing new success stories, the ambition of the makesense training program is to inspire young people to turn to jobs with a positive impact, "jobs that make sense" (named after the job search platform: jobs.makesense.org).

With this in mind, Hélène Binet, Communications and Editorial Director at makesense, led a participative conference on Thursday June 5, 2025 with young high school students from the Principality. Through exchanges, experience sharing and fun exercises, they were able to discover how to combine ambitions and convictions, and thus sketch out futures where social impact and environmental impact become privileged indicators.

Because choosing a job that makes a positive impact is the most powerful individual lever for influencing the transformation of society.
