"Guardians of the Coral Reef" Show
Inspiration
Created by the Alexander Savchuk Cancer Charity, the show "Guardians of the Coral Reef" was presented to kindergarten and first-grade classes in schools across the Principality on World Ocean Day, Monday, June 8, with the support of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
Nearly 250 children were introduced to the importance of protecting the marine world through a fun and educational musical puppet show presented by the Azur Party company.
Alongside Octave the octopus, Zip the little clownfish, and the twin jellyfish Risette and Frisette, the story recounts an underwater adventure based on friendship, beauty, and the diversity of life in the ocean. It addresses important issues such as the preservation of coral reefs, the fight against plastic pollution in the sea, and the importance of collective action to overcome these challenges.
After two initial performances at the Prince Albert II Foundation's Green Shift Festival 2026, at the International School of Monaco and the Yacht Club of Monaco, the show continues to perform to share its messages with as many people as possible and is already preparing new surprises.
