MOOC Imagine 2050

Presented by French actor and filmmaker Jérémie Renier, the Audiovisual Fiction speciality is the very first sector speciality of the Imagine 2050 MOOC, whose core course was launched in 2024. Developed by Imagine 2050, a mission-driven company, this speciality has received the support of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, in line with the Foundation's commitment to work towards the development of more inspiring ecological narratives.
This new 90-minute programme is aimed at fiction professionals: scriptwriters, authors, filmmakers, production teams, distributors and broadcasters.
The Audiovisual Fiction speciality is divided into 3 basic modiles to grasp the issues and get you started:
- Reality and fiction, constant interactions
- What scenarios to infuse the "Planet Way of Life"
- Towards a shift of the sector
Infusing the "Planet Way of Life"
- Alternatives to traditional dramaturgy,
- Interviews with leading experts: Sabine Chalvon-Demersay, media sociologist (CNRS, EHESS), Matthieu Tapanier, scriptwriter and editor, Danielle Turkov, Impact producer.
A common core to anchor the training
The core course is the foundation of Imagine 2050's New Narratives training. This initial 90-minutes programme with its entertaining pedagogy offers cultural and creative businesses and all sity dwellers the tools they need to understand the issues and the inspiration to strat promoting the socio-ecological narratives that our societues need. Released in June 2024, this core course us designed for anyone involved in storytelling, communication in the broadest sense of the term, and foresight professions within any type of company.
The Imagine 2050 MOOC specialities
After audiovisual fiction, other professional specialities will soon be available to provide tools and inspiration by profession and sector of activity. The brand storytelling speciality, aimed at marketing and communications, will be available in September 2025.
