Author & Animator of workshops exploring the power of word
Jeanne Hénin is an independent researcher and artist who leads reflective workshops exploring the power of words — to name, connect and act. Through a poetic research practice, she investigates the language of the Anthropocene, creative capacities and processes of repair.
A facilitator and forest bathing guide, she designs performances and workshops that deepen our connection with the living world and encourage dialogue between different perspectives and communities.
Since 2022, together with Titiane Haton, she has developed Le Bureau des mots, a participatory performance inspired by the Bureau of Linguistical Reality (created by Alicia Escott and Heidi Quante), inviting participants to invent the words needed to express emerging ecological and social realities.
She is the author of Les Mots qu’il nous faut (La Mer Salée, 2024) and of a collection devoted to parenthood in the age of the ecological crisis (2025). Her latest short story was published in a collective volume on ecotones, produced by the RASSCAS research laboratory in 2025.
